Meet Mindy Woods
Mindy is a proud Bundjalung woman, chef, author and educator. After physiotherapy, MasterChef Australia and years running kitchens in Sydney, she came home to Country and opened Karkalla in Byron Bay in 2020. Today that table has moved onto Country itself.
She sits on the board of Black Duck Foods, is a NSW Landcare Ambassador, and works with The Returning to pass bush food knowledge to the next generation.
“Native food is an important part of the reconciliation of our nation.”
